Dear Parishioners,
God is Emmanuel! God is among us! What beautiful news this Christmas season brings to us! God has not left us alone in our struggles and daily toiling, but has come to join our walk. He became one of us so that we may not feel alone and abandoned any longer.
I am so excited and blessed to celebrate this Christmas Season with you for the third time: by celebrating the different liturgical feasts of these coming days (Christmas, the Holy Innocents, the Holy Family, the Epiphany and the Baptism of the Lord) we will contemplate different facets of this beautiful diamond that is the mystery of the Incarnation and we will be mesmerized by the love and tenderness God has for all of us.
There are several people I would like to give special a thanks to: All of those who have worked so hard to make this season special for all of us. First of all Fr. Michele, The Grimaldi Family, Sr. Monique and all those who took the time to set up the Christmas decorations in the Church and did a terrific job. Many thanks to the Altar servers who have made themselves available for the liturgies of Christmas day. Also another huge thank you much to Robert and Wanda Grimaldi who arranged to have the presence of the live animals outside the Church, they really add a touch of color to our celebrations.
And thank you very much to you all who have been so kind to send Christmas cards and gifts to us priests, there are too many of you to mention. Rest assured we will be praying for each and everyone of you. May this Christmas be special for everyone at St. Theresa’s.
God bless you all! Fr. Giovanni
