Youth Ministry

High School Youth Ministry Program

Tonight all High School Students are invited to join us for our next meeting at St. Michael’s. Doors open at 7pm, and we get started shortly after 7:30pm in the Youth Room. Tonight’s is one of our “Choice Topic Nights” where we will offer 5 “mini topic meetings” and teens will choose which subject they want to sit in on.

Thanksgiving Pie Sale
Can you smell it?  Its smells like  fresh baked pies!   A Reminder that  if you ordered a pie from the Youth Ministry Program that Pie Pick Ups are THIS TUESDAY from 10am till 7 pm in the foyer of McVeigh Hall (School Gym) at St. Theresa’s in Kenilworth
Christmas Spectacular Sales
Its time for the Youth Ministry Program to begin its Christmas Sales!  TUESDAY November 21st from 10am to 7pm we will be selling Grave Covers at St. Theresa’s ONLY.    The weekend of November 25/ 26 we will be selling Grave Covers at BOTH St. Michael’s and St. Theresa’s.  Hours are Saturday 9am till 7 pm, and Sunday 8am till 1:30 pm.  The weekend of December 2/3 we will be selling trees, wreaths and grave covers at BOTH PARISHES and then December 9/10 we will be selling trees, covers and wreaths at BOTH Parishes.  For more information visit our website at

Immaculate Conception


O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us,  who have recourse to thee.

Please join us to honor our Mother, Mary on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Friday, December 8.  Mass will be celebrated at 7:00am, 9:00am, 12:00pm, 3:30pm and 7:30pm.  The Vigil Mass is Thursday, December 7 at 7:30pm.

National Night of Prayer for Life

On December 8 from 9:00 pm to 12:05 pm our parish will participate in the National Night of Prayer for Life (prayer service consisting of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Holy Rosary, prayer to St. Michael, silent prayer and hymns.) The purpose is to unite our prayers with Catholics throughout the country in an effort to help bring back the world to Christ and to bring about a Culture of Respect for Life, The hours are chosen to coincide with Our Lady of Guadalupe’s appearance to Juan Diego.

Union Catholic HS Scholarship Exam

Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 9:00 am and Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm.  Exam fee is $30.00
To register for the Scholarship Exam and for more information call the Admissions Office at 908-889-1600, exts.302 or 328 or visit our website at is no make-up for this exam.

The  2019 Mass book will be open for
Special Intention Masses. Beginning December 4th.

(from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm) and December 15th (from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and  5:00 pm - 8:00 pm).

At this time no intentions will be taken in the Parish office: there will be someone available in the Cry room  of the Church to receive your intentions presented in person. Upon your arrival in the Church you will be given a number: afterward, kindly sit comfortably in the Church as you wait for your number to be called.

All intentions received by mail or drop off will be entered after December 15th. As a general rule, only one intention per Mass is accepted: however, a memorial Mass in Italian with multiple intentions will be celebrated once a month, ordinarily on the First Friday of the month, at 6:30 pm ( unless conflicting events happen to be in the calendar).

Adult Bible Study Continues

Thanksgiving Baskets

Anyone wishing to receive a Thanksgiving Basket, please call the rectory and we will be glad to add your name to the list.

All Thanksgiving Baskets will be distributed on Saturday, November 18th, between 9:00am and 12:00pm, in the back of the Rectory (garage area) which is accessible from 22nd Street.
